Are you hooked on a serial?

After a long time thinking about a topic which could arise different opinions, I've come across this one: What do you think about TV? Do you think watching Tv today is a waste of time? Are you the type of people who think that most of the programmes broadcast today could be labelled as "rubbish"? I do not belong to this group. I think that Tv exists to entertain us, to turn it on when we are worn-out after a very long day. So when I get home, I just want to relax and watch TV without thinking too much. I just have to confess that I am hooked on a serial called "Porca Misèria" and when I am not at home on Sundays, I always record it! Throughout my life,I've been hooked on different serials and here you have in pictures some examples. What about you?

Hi there!

Interesting topic today! Firtst of all I'd have to say I'm not a Tv Programmes' fool. Nowadays It's rather difficult to find any interesting broadcast, overall whether you like something apart from "heart" programmes.
There are some schedules where it's impossible to switch on the Tv and watch something which is not linked with the personal life of someone.

Otherwise I'm or I've been hooked to several Tv serials like "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air", "The Simpsons", "V", "Alfred Hichtcot's hour",...and some more I just don't remember now. Lately I've been really hooked to one Tv serial which I didn't watch when it' was released on "La Primera". One mate has it into a hard disk, only the first stage, and I began with it and I couldn't stop til I finished the last chapter. It's called "Lost" and It turned out to be an amazing story, at least to me. I hope they buy the next stage.

Hi!!

I think I'm not really hooked on a serial now. If you are hooked on one, you change your agenda to watch it on TV, or you record it to watch it in another moment. The most curious example about how one person could be hooked on that I know, is the case of one girl who couldn't see one chapter of "Pasion de Gavilanes", and she asked a friend if he could download it from Internet. People use communications technology in different ways.

Now, I just watch the serials that I find in the TV when I decide to turn on it. I don't change my agenda so I suppose I'm not hooked to any.

Hello!
Who didn't watch serials like "Friends","The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" or "Beverly Hill 90210"? I was hooked on this serials.
In my opinion there aren't a lot of good serials and we can't forget some good serials in our lives.
I haven't time to watch a lot TV but when I can I watch it, I'm hooked on a serials as "Aida" and " 7 Vidas" , you can smile a little and there aren't a lot smile serials in TV.However I don't change my life to watch serials o other kind of programme in TV.

Yes I like serials and in a period of my life I was very hooked on a serial in TV3 wich lasted more or less 3 years and then I promised to myself that never and ever would see this kind of tv programmes but, it was a lie because I continue watching most of the nights serials like "Fallin & Fallin" or "Aqui no hay quien viva". From my point of view this kind of serials aren't very interesting but when you want get relax it's wonderful. On the other hand most of the tv shows are rubish although there are many tv programmes that make it worth. It's depends on each person obviously but many people say that they don't watch rubish programs and then all tv programs have a lot of audience. What is happen with this?

For me hte TV isn't interesting because for example I prefer spend my time reading. I haven't got free time to watch TV. I only watch TV when I'm having dinner with my boyfriend and we prefer to watch a DVD.
I think that serials are very boring we never had been hooked with one of them.
When I had 14 years I watched many serial because everybody were hooked with them, but now the young people prefer chatting in the internet.
